Riding LessonsWhether you're already an experienced rider or just starting out, Kensington Stables has friendly, patient, qualified instructors who can help you achieve your riding objectives. We offer instruction in both Engish and Western styles. We use "The Shoe" in Prospect Park (a fenced loop of the bridle path located at 15th Street inside the park over the drive and before the baseball fields). Anyone is welcome to watch. We are renovating our 40 x 40 ft indoor ring, which should be ready by December 2006. It will be appropriate for children's lessons at a walk or trot, or longe lessons for any age. Lessons are $57 per hour. $34 per half hour. Semprivate rate is $52, and group rate is $47 per person per hour. (All prices effective June 1st, 2008. Lesson cards and gift certificates bought before June 1st 2008 will still be honored.) Prices do not include gratuities. Please call for a reservation or to discuss your individual needs.
