Dear Samsam,

Before I set out, I want to thank you for your excellent coaching and guidance this year. As I know I've told you, I've been a student at several stables, and I have never had a more attentive teacher. This includes your work on my form in the ring and your focus on good habits on the trail and in the stable.

Whatever path you take professionally, I wish you great success. I know future students will enjoy your genuine manner, your focus on safety, your professionalism, and your intense attention to each rider. I believe you also teach by example: your own exemplary dedication, your physical and mental stamina, and your care for the horses set a high standard.

Best of luck in all of your endeavors! I will certainly miss you, Professor, Lumpy, Bingo, Sign-Me-Up, and all of the horses and people at Kensington.
